The bamboo

You grow in spectacular surges and you bend rather than break. Botanical fact: bamboo is not a tree but a grass, and some species extend their stems by nearly a metre a day. Another detail that applies to you: many species flower once, all together, and then die. Translation — your speed is real, so is your habit of staking everything at once, and that is the only place you are fragile.
